Norma Russell, of Warwick, passed away on May 27, 2017 at St. Anthony Community Hospital. She was 90 years old.
Born on October 26, 1926 in Spring Valley, NY, she was the daughter of the late Loomis De Groat and Hannah (Conklin) De Groat.
She was married to the late William Russell, Sr. (2013).
Norma was formerly a Sewing Machine Operator with Classy Leather Goods in Middletown, NY.
She is survived by her children: Sharon Veldran and her husband Robert of Monroe, William Russell, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Virginia Beach, CA, George Russell and his wife Carol of Haverstraw, Scott Russell of Warwick, and Mitchell Russell of Warwick; ten grandchildren: Lori, Katie, Brad, Sarah, Michelle, Alexis, Lindsey, Paige, Justin and McKenzie; and six great-grandchildren: Addison, Declan, Mary, Ryan, Madeline & Lily.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 31st, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, followed by funeral service at 12:00 pm. Interment will be in Orange County Veterans Cemetery.
