of Warwick, passed away on November 22, 2008 at St. Anthony’s Hospital. She was 71 years old.
Born on July 11, 1937 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Max and Mary Ihlen.
She was married to Robert A. Kosara for 44 years.
A 1959 graduate of Mary Immaculate Nursing School in Queens, she was a Registered Nurse and Clinical Instructor for Operating and Emergency Room procedures. She was a nurse with South Winds Nursing Home, Middletown.
A family statement reads: “Charlotte will be missed by all who knew and loved her.”
She is survived by her husband Robert A. Kosara, of Warwick; a son, Andrew C. Kosara and his wife Lori of Kennett Square, PA; three daughters: Catherine M. Hovermale and her husband Dean of Williamsburg, VA, Christine M. Gambino and her husband John of Sparta, NJ, and Theresa A. Kosara of Hoboken, NJ; six grandchildren: Mitchell, Julia, Matthew, Audrey, Nicholas and Madeline; a brother, James Ihlen, of Smithtown, LI.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 24th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral mass will be at 10am on Tuesday at St. Stephen’s RC Church, Warwick, followed by interment in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
