
Dorothy A. (nee Stoll) Corbo of Warwick, passed away on March 4, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. She was 78 years old.
She was born to parents Charles and Florence (Brown) Stoll in New York, NY on July 4, 1939.
Dorothy worked in customer service for Bennett Brothers Jewelry in Mahwah, NJ for many years.
Dorothy was married to the late Thomas Corbo. They shared a 65 year romance, married for 57 of those years, until Thomas predeceased her on January 7, 2018.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Danny Corbo, Cheryl Corbo, and Dawn Kettenring and her companion, Ken Dougherty; daughter-in-law, Lorna Corbo; and grandchildren: Lana Corbo, Daniel Corbo, Vincent Corbo, Kiersten Pascucci, Kelly Santiago and her husband John, Kristen Tenorio and her husband Max, and Kaelyn Kettenring; a sister, Gloria Russo and husband Benny; and countless family and friends whom she cherished with all her heart.
Visitation will be held at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, on Thursday, March 8, from 4-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick on Friday, March 9, at 10:00 a.m. Interment immediately following at St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
The family would like to thank all those who cared for Dorothy at ORMC, especially those on Fourth Floor South.
