Mary A. Roukema of Warwick, NY passed away on October 29, 2021. She was 93 years old.

Born in Schoonhoven, The Netherlands on July 6, 1928, she was the daughter of Gerardus and Mary (Devaal) Schreuder.

While in the Netherlands, Mary worked in Wassenaar as an executive secretary for Menken Milk which was founded in 1925 and they delivered milk by horse and cart. After the war, the dairy grew into a wholesaler and was an ever-growing company with mergers and acquisitions of other dairies. Mary came back to the United States in 2001.

Mary is survived by her sons, Edzer Roukema and his wife Robyn of Middletown, NY and Peter J. Roukema of Petoskey, MI; five grandchildren: Janine, Scott, Mallory, Ellyce and Mia.
