
Patrick E. King, a retired Deputy Chief for the New York City Fire Department, and two year resident of Campbell Hall, NY, and formerly of Brooklyn, entered into eternal rest on October 16, 2012. He was 91 years old.
Born on August 11, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late John and Mary(nee Harrington) King.
He was married to the late Dorothy (nee Carney) January 26, 1948
Patrick served with the US Army during World War II and was a member of Mary Queen of Heaven RC Church, Brooklyn, where he served as a Eucharistic minister.
He is survived by nine children; son Patrick King and his wife Zoraida of Warren OH, son Stephen King and his wife Cathy of Middletown, NY, daughter Dorothy Ann D’ Amato of Cream Ridge, NJ, daughter Mary Salatino and her husband Anthony of Inverness, FL, son John King of Citrus Springs, FL, daughter Theresa Scibelli and her husband Pasquale of Boca Raton, FL, son Thomas King and his wife Donna of Warwick, NY, daughter Margaret Garone and her husband Gregory of Commack, NY and daughter Catherine King-Nieves and her companion Rafael Nieves of Campbell Hall, NY. Also surviving are his brother Michael King of Staten Island, NY, sister Nora Healey of Brooklyn, NY, and sister Nancy Jennings of Ohio as well as his 26 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother John King
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 18th from 4:00-7:00 pm at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:45 am on Friday at Mary Queen of Heaven RC Church, Avenue M and 57th Street, Brooklyn, NY. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
