
a longtime resident of Warwick, entered into rest peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 16, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Community Hospital. She was 66 years old.
Born on July 3, 1944 in Florida, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Nowak) Clapp.
She was the loving wife for 47 years of Philip J. Brady, Jr.
Mrs. Brady was a Travel Agent and Owner of Travel Time, Warwick and a member of the Red Hat Ladies. A devoted Catholic, she was a parishioner of St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick.
A family statement reads: “Mama loved to cook, travel, shop and dine with friends, although her passion in life was to spend as much time as possible with her grandchildren.”
She is survived by her husband, Philip J. Brady, Jr., of Warwick; a son, Philip Brady III and his wife Susan of Chandler, AZ; two daughters: Pamela Di Guilio and her husband Mark of Warwick, and Julie Brady of Warwick; three grandchildren: Makenna, Ciarra and Cade; a sister, Dolores Taft of Red Oak, VA; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, John Clapp.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 19th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Thursday at St. Stephens RC Church, followed by interment in St. Stephens Cemetery.
