of Warwick, died on March 11, 2008 at home.  She was 80 years old.

Born on November 18, 1927 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of Henry Simpson and  

Catherine Tierney Simpson.

She was the wife of the late Lawrence Fahy.

Mrs. Fahy was a Bookkeeper with Big V Supermarkets, Florida, NY.  She was a member of St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick, where she was a member of Sodality.

She is survived by her son, Lawrence Fahy and his companion Joanne Schmoll of Chester; a daughter, Anne Schenck of Chicago, IL;  daughter-in-law, Diane Fahy of Middletown; two brothers:  Lawrence Simpson of Brick, NJ, and Thomas Simpson of Kannapolis, NC;  sister-in-law, Kathleen Simpson of Hawthorne.  She is also survived by six grandchildren:  James, Brian, Tara, Sean, Christopher and Julie,  and two great-grandchildren: Karen and Evelyn.  She was predeceased by her son, Timothy, a brother, Kevin Simpson and a sister, Rosaleen Spieese. 

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 13, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Thursday at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Friday at St. Stephens RC Church.  Interment will follow in St. Stephens Cemetery.
