, of Goshen (formerly of West Milford, NJ), passed away on June 13, 2009 at Northern Riverview Nursing Home, Nanuet. She was 56 years old.
Born on July 31, 1952 in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Herman Howard Conklin and Anna Mary Luchanski.
A family statement reads: “Values of her life, which so touched many, and her love for everything, will now allow her to be free to run with her horses, whom she truly treasured.”
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Kay of Clifton, NJ; her sons: Ronald Conklin of Plattekill, NY and Mark Michealson of Goshen, NY; six grandchildren: Edward, Noelle, Austin, Kyle, Mark and Brandon; sisters: Ann Conklin of the state of Florida, Helen Lewis of Chester, Mabel Conklin of Chester; brothers: Herman Conklin of Franklin, NJ and David Conklin of Lafayette, NJ. She was predeceased by a grandchild, Cody, two sisters, Sharon and Hazel Conklin, and a brother, William Conklin.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 17th, from 2-4 & 7-8:30 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral service will follow at 8:30 pm. Private cremation.
