of Warwick, NY (formerly a 20 year resident of Greenwood Lake and a 57 year resident of Montvale, NJ), died on December 9, 2006 at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick.   He was 79 years old.

Born on December 27, 1926 in Risor, Norway, he was the son of Josef and Sigrid Kristine Jensen Lindstrom.

He was the husband of Reidun Sophie Lindstrom for 57 years. 

Mr. Lindstrom was a Building Superintendent for Western Union, Upper Saddle River, NJ.  He was a former member of the Planning Board in Greenwood Lake, a former member and former chairman of the Montvale Planning Board, and a former engineer working with the Merchant Marine.  He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Greenwood Lake. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons:  Bruce Lindstrom and his wife Wendy of Montville, NJ, John Lindstrom and his wife Doreen of Warwick, NY, and Howard Lindstrom and his wife Lori of Wayne, NJ;  eight grandchildren:  Cole, Chelsea, John, Kathryn, Jennifer, Daniel, Brianne and Kyle; a sister, Martha Gavin of Paterson, NJ.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 95 Kings Highway, Warwick, NY.
