Nancy B. Townsley

Nancy B. Townsley, of Warwick, passed away on April 26, 2011 at Schervier Pavilion.  She was 82 years old.

 

Born on March 22, 1929 in Corrizo Springs, Texas, she was the daughter of the late

Jodie M. and Mary (Rockett) Bell.

 

Nancy was a Computer Consultant with Westchester BOCES, Westchester County, NY, before retiring in 1993.  An avid bridge player, she served as Docent at Storm King Arts Center in Salisbury Mills, was a member of the Warwick Newcomers Club, worked for the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, and was a member of the Warwick Historical Society.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Gallagher of Pine Island; her son-in-law Patrick Gallagher; three grandchildren:  Pierce Gallagher, Kate Gallagher and Georgia Gallagher.

 

Private funeral arrangements were held.
