Donalee W. Boshart, of Hewitt, NJ (formerly of Suffern, NY) passed away on November 28, 2011 at Potomac Homes, Mahwah, NJ. She was 78 years old.
Born on January 9, 1933 in Canastota, NY, she was the daughter of the late David and Phyllis (Gross) White.
She was married to Charles R. Boshart on August 18, 1956 in Cazenovia, NY. This year was their fifty-fifth anniversary.
Donna was an Elementary School Teacher with the Ramapo Central School District in Suffern, NY and also taught in Chatham, NY with the Chatham Central School District, and in Rochester, NY and West Lafayette, IN.
“Her love of children was indefatigable. As wife, mother, grandmother and teacher, her memory will always live on.”
She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Boshart, of Hewitt, NJ; her children: Susan Hanlon and her husband Kevin of Catonsville, MD, Gary Boshart and his wife Jennifer of Arlington, VA, Amy Sibilla and her husband Tom of Warwick, and David Boshart and his wife Stephanie, of Chatham Center, NY; eleven grandchildren: John, Jake, Scott, Garret, Tommy, Conor, Dillon, Abigail, William, Garner and Ella; a sister, Mary Lou McPherson of Daytona Beach, FL; a brother, David White of Clay, NY.
Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, December 3rd, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, NY, followed by a memorial service at 5:00 pm.
