of Florida, NY, passed away after a long-term illness on January 7, 2009 at home. She was 49 years old.

Born on December 21, 1959 in Sussex, NJ, she was the daughter of Henry Orville Wendt and the late Barbara Ann Cole.

She was married to Joseph Burghardt, Jr.

Mrs. Burghardt was a waitress at G’s Restaurant in Warwick, as well as a Barmaid at Garcia’s.

“Cindy lived with her illness as an example to others of how to endure and make the most of the time we are given.”

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Burghardt, Jr., of Florida, NY; her father, Lawrence (Tob) Farber, of Vernon, NJ; a brother, Robert Farber and his wife Junie of Wantage, NJ; a sister, Melanie Debeises and her husband Edward of Dingmans Ferry, PA; brother-in-law, Jeff Burghardt of Warwick; nieces and nephews: Robert, Jacob, Jessica and Ashley.  She was predeceased by her mother, Barbara Farber.

Cremation was private at the convenience of the family.
