James F. Turner, of Greenwood Lake, NY, entered into rest on April 8, 2013.  He was 61 years old. 

The son of Robert and Evelyn Daus Turner, he was born on July 2, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York.

Mr. Turner was a self-employed landscaper and avid sports fan who loved the Yankees.  

He is survived by his cherished wife Kathie Langan Turner; his much beloved daughters Lea and Kyla all at home; loving sister Patricia Alden of Greenwood Lake and brother Robert Turner and his wife Stacy of Suffern, NY; sister-in-law Claire Riley and her husband Jim of Greenwood Lake; and brother-in-law Bob Langan and his wife Margaret of Lake Worth, FL. He is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, dear friends and adored pets.  

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, from 4-8 PM at the Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home,   17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM  on Thursday at Holy Rosary Church, Greenwood Lake.  Interment is private.
