of Warwick, NY and formerly of Lauderhill, FL and Haverstraw, NY passed away on October 4, 2009 at the Ridgewood Center in Bedford, NH. She was 72.
The daughter of the late Nunzio and Antoinette Catena D’Arco she was born February 28, 1937 in Bronx, NY. She was the wife of the late Anthony Franco (2006)
Rose was a secretary for the Rockland County Sheriff’s Department and was a great fan of the North Rockland Football Team; she also bowled for many years with the High Tor Bowling League and was a former employee of Bou Cor Paints in West Haverstraw, NY. Rose was a member of St. Stephen RC Church Warwick, NY and a former resident of Mt. Alverno in Warwick
She is survived by her three daughters Carol Martin of Bow, NH and Barbara McElnea of Warwick and Linda Franco of San Diego, CA, an son Glen Daves also of Warwick, NY Michael Franco of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by two sisters Rita Ezzie of Congers, NY and Carmela DeSimone of Palm Beach, Gardens, FL and a brother Silverio D’Arco of Tequesta, FL three grandsons, Jeffrey and Matthew Martin and Kyle Franco
Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 on Wednesday October 7th at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen RC church Warwick on Thursday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
