
Barbara DiMartini of West Milford, NJ (formerly Lady Lake, FL and Levittown, NY) passed away on February 11, 2022 at the Chelsea at Bald Eagle. She was 89 years old.
Born in Brooklyn on March 28, 1932, she was the daughter of Paul and Annabell nee Hanlon) Morich.
She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Anthony J. DiMartini in 2006.
Barbara was a bookkeeper for U.S. Plywood, New York, NY.
As a former member of St. Timothy Church, she was a eucharistic minister and performed the masses in sign language as part of the Silent Ministry there. She was a past president of the East Meadow, NY Fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary, as well as a past president of the Oxford Fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary in Lady Lake, FL.
Barbara is survived by her loving children: Donna Enright and her husband Roy of Wickenberg, AZ, William DiMartini and his wife Susan of Warwick, NY, Anthony “Tony” DiMartini of Rochester, NY and Judy Petrosino and her husband Gary of Pacific Palisades, CA; her 100-year old sister Katherine Gaynor of Salisbury Mills, NY; six grandchildren: William DiMartini, Christina Ludwig, Tony Akers, Christine DeCarmine, Christopher Petrosino and Jennifer Lupe; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15th at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick.
