Barbara (Holland) Bressi of Warwick, NY formerly of Nyack, passed away at Valley View Center on February 24, 2018. She was 78 years old.

Born on September 2, 1939 in Kennett Square, PA, to parents Lawrence and Mary (Holland) Wolcott.

She was married to Vincent Bressi.

Barbara graduated from Nyack High School and attended SUNY Oswego and New Paltz. She also attended NYU where she earned a painting degree. Barbara was a floral designer and worked for Dan River Fabrics and Wamsutta Sheets. Barbara provided murals for childrens’ hospitals in the State of Mississippi. She was also featured in Architectural Digest Magazine for her floral design.

Barbara was connected and involved in the art community in the Warwick area, creating various crafts, children’s clothing and costumes.

She had a deep love of children, and loved cats and other animals; she was a very caring mother.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Vincent at home; daughter, Lexie of Warwick; two brothers, Larry Wolcott and wife Julie of Plymouth, MI and Peter Wolcott of Vancouver British Columbia; a niece, Jennifer Harrelson; and two grand nephews.
