Ann Marie Mabee, aged 61, went to be with her Lord on May 16, 2014 at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, NJ. Ann was born on October 12, 1952 in Newburgh, NY to Leon F. and Roberta Whittaker Brozdowski .
She was the widow of Ronald James Mabee and was a longtime Warwick and Florida resident.
Ann was retired from John W Sanford & Son Insurance in Warwick NY after many years as an insurance agent. She previously had served as Secretary of the Insurance Women of Orange County. She was a past President, Vice-President, and Secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Goodwill Hook and Ladder Co of the Warwick Fire Department. She had also served as the Chaplain and Secretary of the Nicholas P. Lesando Unit 214 of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her Brothers-in-Law: Ken Mabee of Warwick and John Mabee and his wife Betty of Warwick, and her Sister-in-Law Carole and her husband John Rysinger of Florida NY. She is also survived by many beloved Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, God Children, and friends. She is also survived by her four legged companions, Chloe and Millie.
Memorial donations may be made to the Goodwill Hook and Ladder Company of the Warwick Fire Department or to the Warwick Valley Humane Society.
Visitation will be on Wednesday May 21st from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Lazear Smith and Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 10 am at the St. Stephens Church in Warwick. Burial will be at the convenience of her family and friends at the St Joseph’s Cemetery in Florida NY, after her remains are reunited with her true love Ron.
