of Warwick, passed away on December 26, 2008 at St. Anthony’s Hospital.  She was 82 years old.

Born on September 20, 1926 in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Henricka Zuchowska Zabkiewicz.

She was married to the late Joseph Nick (1998).

A homemaker, she also worked in real estate management in Warwick. 

She is survived by her son James Nick of Warwick, NY; a daughter, Esther Cohen of Alpine, CA; four grandchildren:  Meagan Nick of Mahopac, NY, Moses Alexander Cohen of Mountain View, CA, Evelyn Huerta of Alpine, CA and Michelle Nick of Warwick, NY; three great-grandchildren:  MacKenzie, Sophia and Manuel; a daughter-in-laws: Kathy Walker and Marie Nick; son-in-law, Daniel Cohen.  She was predeceased by her son, Emanuel Nick in 1985 and a sister, Gena Kobylanski in 2003.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 28th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Monday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Temple Beth Shalom Cemetery, Florida, NY.
