
Donald H. Linton of Summitville (formerly of Warwick) passed away on April 17, 2012 at Park Manor Nursing Home. He was 80 years old.
Born on July 24, 1931 in Warwick, he was the son of the late Allan A. Linton and Lenora Keegan Linton.
He was the husband of Maxine (Lux) Linton.
Mr. Linton served with the Air Force during the Korean War and was a 50 year member of American Legion Post #214 in Warwick. He was a self-employed House Painter/Interior Decorator and a member of Sugar Loaf United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine of Summitville; a daughter, Diane Vega and her husband Joaquin and their daughter Ciara; a son, Gary Linton of Bloomingburg and his wife Angela and their children Matthew, Vincent and Kelsey. He is also survived by a brother, Stanley and his wife Carolyn of Warwick. He was predeceased by brothers Norman, Kenneth, and Elwood, and a sister Helen Barlow.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 21st, from 2:00-5:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Sunday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
