Ronald Polo, of Warwick, NY, passed away at his home on November 2, 2016. He was 77 years old.
Born on February 20, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Katherine (Beatty) Polo.
He was married to Rosemary (Petsche) Polo for 55 years.
Ronald served with the Army Reserves. He was a Claims Adjuster with Associated Mutual Insurance Company in Woodridge, NY and was a parishioner of St. Stephen RC Church, Warwick.
Ron loved traveling with his wife, sister and brother-in-law, enjoyed fine dining, and was so proud of his loving grandchildren. He always took care of his family.
His family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Raymond Basri, Dr. Arvind G. Kamtham and Dr. Hratch Kazanjian and the staff at Metropolitan Cardiologists for their excellent care over the years, as well as the nurses and staff at St. Anthony Community Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Polo; his daughter, Tracy Eisele and her husband Frank of Warwick; his son, Christopher Polo and his wife Colleen of Washingtonville; his four grandchildren: Ashley Lynn Polo, Allish Anna Eisele, Caitlin Rose Polo and Connor Eisele; his sister, Carol Hassett and her husband Joseph of Baldwin Harbor, LI, NY; several nieces and nephews; and his dog and faithful companion, Angus.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 6th, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Monday at St. Stephen RC Church, Warwick, followed by interment in St. Stephen Cemetery.
