Milagros Medina, of Warwick, passed away on March 8, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Hospital.  She was 55 years old.

Born on March 3, 1956 in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of Jose M. Lugo and the late Alicia (Ayala) Lugo.

She was married to Jose Medina.

Mrs. Medina was formerly a Secretary with the New York State Police Department in Middletown. She was a member of the Grace Community Church, Washingtonville.

She is survived by her husband, Jose of Warwick; three children:  Jose Medina, Jr. of Warwick, Allen Medina and his wife Bonnie of Port St. Lucia, FL, and Amanda M. Medina of Warwick; three grandchildren:  Ethan Jose Massy, Iyanah Massy and Alyssa Medina; two sisters:  Jennie Lugo and Noreen Ruffino; a brother, Luis Lugo.  She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Lugo.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 10, 2011,  from 2:00-6:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, followed by a funeral service art 6:00 pm.  Cremation will be private.
