a longtime resident of Warwick, passed away on Saturday October 23, 1010 at the Schervier Pavilion Warwick. She was 80 years old.
Born on October 31, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn (McDaniel) Dickey, Sr.
She was the wife of George Robinson.
Audrey received her undergraduate degree from Shaw University in Sociology and her Master’s degree in Education from New Paltz. She was a school teacher with the Warwick Valley school system, teaching first grade for 26 years from 1961-1987. She was a member of the League of Women Voters, a member of the AAUW, and a member of the Warwick Reformed Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher.
She is survived by her husband, George Robinson of Warwick; a daughter, Jill Terry of Norristown, PA; two grandsons: William Robert Terry II of Philadelphia, PA and Matthew Robinson Terry of Salt Lake City, UT; a great-grandson, Ashir Terry; three sisters: Kathryne Harris of Lynchburg, VA, Gladys Hilliard of Tinton Falls, NJ and Juanita Parham of New Brunswick, NJ.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 28, 2010, from 9:30am – 11:00 am at the Warwick Reformed Church, 16 Maple Ave., Warwick, NY, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Rosemount Memorial Park.
