of Warwick, died unexpectedly on August 26, 2009. He was 18 years old.
Born on December 25, 1990 in Bronxville, NY, he was the son of Therese Gaertner Lodovichetti and the late Richard A. Lodovichetti, who passed away in 2002.
Richard graduated from Warwick High School in 2008 and was planning to enter ITT Technical Institute in Albany this fall. He recently attended SUNY-Orange. Richard was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman, and participated in the M.S. Walk for a Cause.
A family statement reads: “Richard was a wonderful son, loving big brother and friend. He had a heart of gold and will be missed by everyone.”
He is survived by his mother, Therese Lodovichetti; three brothers: Michael, Nicholas and Frankie, all of Warwick; his dear friend, Joie DellaGuardia, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 28th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 29th, at St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
