He was the husband of Ida Bravo-DaSilva.
John was the IT Specialist with Maguire Woods, LLP in New York City. He formerly worked as a Computer Technician with Sony BMG and with Smolka Plumbing as a Plumbing Supply Clerk. John was an Eagle Scout with Troop 516.
A family statement reads: “John was very loved by family and many friends and the Robles, Bravo, Colin and DaSilva families. He loved to travel, learning about different cultures, and enjoyed movies and music, especially Pink Floyd.”
He is survived by his wife, Ida Bravo-DaSilva of Astoria, Queens; his mother, Elaine K. DaSilva of Warwick; his sister, Celeste DaSilva of Warwick; an aunt, Irena Nakonechna of Astoria, Queens.
