of Greenwood Lake, died on January 17, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern.  He was 77 years old.

Born on January 23, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Vito and Rose Coiro. 

He was married to the late Mary Jane (Serpe) Coiro. (1997)

Mr. Coiro served in the US Army during the Korean War.  He was an Elevator Mechanic with Archer in New York City.  He was a member of IBEW Union, Local 3, New York.

He is survived by two sons:  Michael and his wife Carol, of Pearl River and Robert and his wife Lili-Elyn of Warwick; four grandchildren:  Mark Victor Coiro, Christy Coiro, Michelle Coiro and Nicole Coiro; a sister, Mary Savaglia of Queens; a brother, Joseph Coiro of Staten Island.

Visitation will be on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Funeral mass will be at 10 am on Monday at St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick.  Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
