of Vernon, NJ, passed away on April 29, 2010 at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick, NY. He was 92 years old.
Born on January 5, 1918 in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late William and Florence (Barnes) Fitzhenry.
He was married to the late Jenny (Woods) Fitzhenry (2003).
Mr. Fitzhenry was an Arc Welder for 38 years with Western Electric, Kearny, NJ, retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Corona Masonic Lodge of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, the Scottish Rite, Lincoln Park, NJ, was a Shriner with Salaam Temple, Livingston, NJ, and a member of New Milford United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his sons: Thomas G. Fitzhenry and his wife Martha G. of Bloomfield, NJ, Raymond T. Fitzhenry and his wife Ellen of Zephyrhills, FL and William James Fitzhenry of Middletown, NY; five grandchildren: Kathleen, William James, Jr., Chad, Brian and Evan; three great-grandchildren: Michael, Joey & Ashley; and his companion, Irene Voorhis, of Warwick.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 3rd, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, NY 10990. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Glenwood Cemetery.
