Dolores C. Leonard of Warwick, NY, passed away peacefully at Schervier Pavilion on October 25, 2024. She was 94 years old.
Born in New York City on August 14, 1930, she was the youngest of six children born to Michael and Mary (nee Buckle) Kehoe.
Dolores was a salesperson for Alexanders on Fordham Road in Bronx for many years before moving to Warwick to be closer to her family.
Dolores is survived by her daughter Barbara Collins of Yonkers; and son Joseph Leonard and his wife Lois of Warwick; grandchildren: Keith Collins and his wife Jamie of Yorktown; Joseph Leonard and his wife Andrea of Suffern; and Laura Chavez and her husband Jared of West Babylon; great-grandchildren: Dominic, Christopher, Adrianna, Aiden, Juliana, Harper, and Bailey. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph H. Leonard, and son-in-law Jerry Collins.
The family will receive friends for viewing on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with an 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Interment will follow in Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY 10924.
