Kathleen Kiernan

died on June 30, 2006 at home.  She was 62 years old.

 

Born on April 8, 1944 in Manhattan, Kansas, she was the daughter of Robert Peter Groom and Eileen Carr Groom. 

 

She was married to the late Norman T. Kiernan.

 

Mrs. Kiernan was a Registered Nurse in Oradell, NJ.  She was past President of the Bergen County Republican Committee, past President and Co-founder of the Emerson Chamber of Commerce, Emerson, NJ, and she was a parishioner of St. Stephens RC Church in Warwick. 

 

Survivors include her two daughters:  Debbie O’Brien of Warwick and Lauren Vitkovsky of Warwick; grandchildren:  Liam, Brendan and Grace; brother, Robert Groom of Las Vegas, Nevada.

 

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 5th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Thursday at St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick.  Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
