Jack Filingeri of Warwick, NY formerly of New York City, passed away on May 18, 2013 at Schervier Pavilion. He was 87 years old. Born on March 7, 1926 in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Palermo Filingeri. He was the loving husband of the late Vincenza Merola. Jack was a shipping manager for Manhattan Industries in New York City. He is survived by his beloved two sons Joseph and his wife Susan of Warwick and their daughter Nicole of New York, NY and Richard, his wife Rosemary and their son, Richard, of Rye Brook, NY. He was predeceased by his brothers Frank and Joseph.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 21st from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral mass will be 10:00 am on Wednesday at St. Stephen’s Church in Warwick. Interment will be private.
