
Daniel R. Chisholm, Sr. of Warwick, passed away on December 12, 2014 at Hackensack Mountainside Hospital, Montclair, NJ. He was 75 years old.
Born on January 31, 1939 in Mt. Vernon, NY, he was the son of the late Colin Chisholm and Irene Barker Chisholm.
A Chemist, Daniel retired from Witco Chemical Corporation in Franklin Lakes, NJ and was currently a Professor of Chemistry at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Wayne, NJ, a member of the Jaycees, and was a lifetime bridge master with New Jersey Bridge Association.
A loving father and grandfather and a wonderful mentor, he is survived by his two sons: Daniel R. Chisholm, Jr. of Warwick, and Mark Chisholm of Warwick; his four grandchildren: the mother of his children, Virginia Chisholm; his companion, Juliana De Luca. He was predeceased by a grandchild.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 16th, from 6:00-9:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday at St. Stephens RC Church, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
