of Warwick, passed away on May 4, 2010, at Kaplan Family Hospice, Newburgh.  He was 51 years old.

Born on September 29, 1958 in Suffern, NY, he was the son of the late Henry and Shirley (Hastings) Korson.

Dean was a Bar Tender with Frontier Lanes, Warwick, and also a DJ, known as “DJ Dean”.

A family statement said: “Dean loved music, played the base, loved to have a good time.  He loved people and was well loved by all who knew him.”

He is survived by his daughter, Sabrina Marie Korson, of Warwick; a step-daughter, Crystal Wise; a granddaughter, Aaliyah Powell;  two brothers: Steven Korson and Jody Korson, both of Warwick; two sisters:  April Korson of Warwick, and Randy Andre of Roanoke, VA;  nephews:  Richard Arnott, Kevin Andre and Ryan Korson;  nieces:  Lynn Arnott, Erin Schmidt, Kelly Andre, Jessica Korson and Cassidy Korson; an aunt, Theresa Eldridge; an uncle, David Hastings; several cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Warwick Cemetery.
