Nancy J. Thomson, of Warwick, passed away on February 25, 2017 at home. She was 75 years old.
Born on May 26, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Ethel Mary (Smith) Fortunato.
She was married to Roger Thomson.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Nancy had worked in real estate, was very interested in politics, loved music, was an accomplished organist, and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Thomson of Warwick; her children: Christopher Thomson and his wife Martha of Westtown, NY, Kenneth Thomson and his wife Linda of Mt. Pocono, PA, and Victoria Ferguson and husband Matthew of Warwick; her five grandchildren: Ashley Schuster and husband Steven of Houston, TX, Kyle Thomson of Brooklyn, NY, Alivia Thomson of Mt. Pocono, PA, Taylor Ferguson of New Paltz, NY, and Noel Ferguson of Newark, NJ; a sister, Theresa Ahr and her husband Ernie of Hilton Head, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Mould.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4th, from 2:00-4:00 pm & 6:00-8:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, followed by a memorial service at 8:00 pm.
