Raymond D. Schneider, Sr., of Warwick (formerly of Rivervale, NJ and Peoria, IL), passed away on April 2, 2014 at St. Anthony community Hospital, Warwick.  He was 83 years old.

Born on January 20, 1931 in Peoria, IL, he was the son of the late Raymond D. and Clementine Schneider.

He was married to Harriet G. (Seei) Schneider.

Raymond served with the US Army during the Korean War.  He received an Electrical Engineering degree from Bradley College in Illinois and retired in 1988 as an Engineer with CBS Network, New York City, where he worked for 28 years.

He is survived by his wife, Harriet G. Schneider, of Warwick; his seven children:  Raymond D. Schneider, Jr. and his wife Geraldine of Warwick, NY, Janice Belbey and her husband Mark of Warwick, RI, Stephen Schneider and his wife Jennifer of Warwick, NY, Michael Schneider and his wife Ingrid of Cumming, GA, Susan Schneider of Warwick, NY, Timothy Schneider and his wife Marilyn of Hillsdale, NJ, and Daniel Schneider and his wife Elise of Harrington Park, NJ.  He is also survived by 20 grandchildren:  Christine Schneider, Raymond Schneider, III, Kelsey Schneider, Meghan Muller, Timothy Belbey, Daniel Belbey, Colleen Belbey, Patrick Belbey, Tara Byrne, Emily Byrne, Stephen Schneider, Jr., Andrew Byrne, Steffi Schneider, Alyssa Schneider, T. J. Schneider, Stephanie Schneider, Shannon Cooke, James Cooke, Daniel Schneider, Jr., and Christian Schneider.  

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 5, 2014  at St. Stephens RC Church, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
