died on June 3, 2006 at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick.  She was 89 years old.

 

Born on July 24, 1916 in Central Islip, New York, she was the daughter of Robert Frederick Bishop and Delia Murphy Bishop.

 

She was married to the late William Wood.

 

Mrs. Wood was a Pharmacy Clerk with Akins Pharmacy in Warwick.  She was a former Girl Scout Leader in Warwick and was a parishioner of St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick.

 

She is survived by her son, William Wood and his wife Jane of Warwick; her daughter, Carol Wood of Warwick; grandson, John Robert Wood of Warwick; granddaughter, Katherine Delia Wood of Warwick.

 

Visitation will be on Monday, June 5th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am on Tuesday at St. Stephens RC Church.  Interment will follow in Hurleyville Cemetery, Hurleyville.
