of Warwick, passed away on April 12, 2009 at Arden Hill Hospital, Goshen. She was 84 years old.
Born on May 21, 1924 in Warwick, NY, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary (Mabee) Quackenbush.
She was married to Ernest Wadeson for 65 years.
Mrs. Wadeson was a School Teacher for 24 years with the Warwick Board of Education and was a member of the NYS Teachers Association. She was a member of the Warwick United Methodist Church and was a volunteer at St. Anthony’s Hospital.
A member of the Orange Squares, she danced all over the world with the group.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest; her sons: William Wadeson and his wife Marilyn of Warwick, and Richard Wadeson and his wife Ginny of Warwick; four grandchildren: Craig Wadeson and his wife Jeanine of Warwick, Dr. Kelly Wadeson of Cleveland, OH, Joel Wadeson and his wife Kristin of Pine Island, and Michael Wadeson, of Warwick; two great-grandchildren: Madeleine and Annabelle; a brother, Clint Quackenbush of Plymouth, NH.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 15th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
