Celebrate the life of Daniel Rocco Battista by donating blood on Friday, October 3 - 3:00 pm-8:30pm - at Jubilee Multi-Cultural Center, 87 Ronald Reagan Blvd, Warwick, New YOrk
During the services for our son, Daniel Rocco Battista, it became apparent that there is truth in the phrase "It takes a village to raise a child", as we saw an entire community of family, friends and neighbors pay their respects.
Our family is deeply touched and appreciative of the outpouring of love, sympathy, comfort, support and generosity from this community that he loved so much. We would like to thank everyone; individuals and organizations, who have helped and continue to help us through this trying time.
We are most thankful and gratefully acknowledge all of the positive people in Dan's life and those he touched with his loving spirit. We must have hugged thousands of people during the services, each of which was a hug for our Danny.
Remember the Dan that you knew and loved; with his beautiful smile, amazing sense of humor, endless talents, selfless generosity and his sweet loving heart.
We appreciate your continued prayers, as it is our faith that is helping us through this painful time, to try and understand the purpose, and gives us the peace of knowing that he is in heaven sounding his trumpet with angels.
Rest in Peace my son - for we'll be together again someday. Your love will remain in our hearts forever.
Have a blessed Mother's Day - please give your child an extra hug for Danny!
With heartfelt thanks,
The Battista Family
