Jean Hennig of Warwick, NY passed away peacefully at Catskill Regional Hospital on May 18, 2022. She was 85 years old.

Born in Mecklenburg County, NC on September 28, 1936, she was the daughter of John Wayne and Flo (nee Haynes) McCalla.

Prior to retirement, Jean worked as an account representative for AT&T in Fair Lawn, NJ.

A family statement reads, “All who knew Jean will miss her sense of humor, smarts, sass and her sweet and spunky personality; all traits which came in handy while helping to raise her grandchildren.  She loved to bake special treats for her family and play golf when she found the time.”

Jean is survived by her husband, Richard; daughters Barbara Watch of Pine Island, NY and Cheryl Stelter of MO; sons Jeffrey Scott Hennig of The Villages, FL and Richard P. Hennig of NJ; sister Cynthia Boyhan of DuBois, WY and brother Wayne McCalla of CO.
