
Wilbur E. (Bill) Ault, of Warwick N.Y. (formerly of Midland Park, N.J.) passed away on July 28, 2016 at Valley View Care Center, Goshen. He was 87 years old.
Born on December 13, 1928 in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Gilbert Eugene Ault and Helen Constance Barker.
He was married to Elizabeth (Schopmeier) Ault.
Bill grew up in Teaneck NJ and graduated from the University of Rochester with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He served in both US Navy and Army and before retiring in 1993, Bill had worked for IBM in Rochester, N.Y , ITT in Nutley NJ and Singer-Kearfott in Little Falls, NJ. A member of the Warwick Valley Bible Church, he was also a member of the Gideon’s Bible Society and with his wife, Betty, he served with Meals on Wheels in Warwick.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Ault of Warwick; his children: Marilyn Hohnholt and her husband Larry of Roy, Utah, Frederick Ault of Warwick, N.Y., Janet Begnoche and her husband Joe of Goshen, NY, Susan Quigley and her husband Ed of Orlando Fl., and Steven Ault and his wife Irena of Kunkletown, PA; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Ruth Hadley of Plainfield, IN. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Morris and sister, Dorothy Stone
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Aug 6, 2016, at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, NY 10990
