She was 83 years old.

Born on September 6, 1923 in Warwick, NY, she was the daughter of Seely C. Freeman and Elizabeth Teasdale Freeman.

She was a Secretary to the  Purchasing Agent for the Lehigh & Hudson River Railway Company and later was a Billing Clerk with Jones Chemical Company, Warwick.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Warwick, where she formerly served as Church Clerk, Sunday School Superintendent, a choir member and leader of King’s Daughters.

A family statement read “We will greatly miss our loving sister and great aunt.”

She is survived by her sister, Dorothy J. Freeman, of Warwick a brother, Elwood W. Freeman, of Warwick; a niece, Elaine Freeman Johnson; a nephew, Elwood A. Freeman; grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 20, at the Calvary Baptist Church,  Kings Highway and Wisner Rd. Warwick.  Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
