Muriel B. Carroll of Warwick, NY passed away on January 8, 2022 at Schervier Pavilion. She was 98 years old.

Born in Manhattan on October 13, 1923 she was the daughter of Cornelius and Martha (nee Weeks) Halpin. Muriel grew up enjoying her Chelsea neighborhood and graduated from Washington Irving High School in Manhattan.

Muriel was a bus driver with the Warwick Valley School District for many years. She enjoyed seeing the children every day and hearing them share their stories about how their days had gone.

Muriel was a parishioner at St. Stephen’s Church.

Muriel is survived by her children: Kathleen Shanley, James Carroll, and Nancy Carroll; 11 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Charles J. Carroll (2000) and son, Timothy Carroll (2014).

The family is grateful for the compassionate care that Muriel received while at Schervier Pavilion.
