Kerri Anne Pettit of Oakridge, NJ passed away on August 3, 2020. She was 50 years old.
Born in Pompton Plains, NJ on August 20, 1969, she was the daughter of Gerard “Jerry” and the late Karen (Harrison) Canino.
Kerri was a great mom and was active in the community, for her girls: as a former Girl Scout leader for Troop 991 and 1031 and most recently for Project Graduation. A family statement reads, “As constant as the stars above, always know that you are loved.”
Kerri is survived by her loving husband, Robert; daughters, Alexa and Jessica; father, Jerry Canino and his wife, Kathy of Lake Worth, FL; and sisters, Karen Vitale of Summit, NJ and Kim Arellano of Charlotte, NC. Kerri was predeceased by her mother, Karen Canino.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 9 from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on Monday, August 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY.
