Joseph Timothy Dinan., a nine year resident of Warwick and formerly of New York City, passed away on March 31, 2009, at St. Anthony's Hospital Warwick. He was 48 years old.
Born on October 18 1960 in New York City, he was the son of the late Joseph Francis Dinan and Irene Mayer Dinan.
A NYC Detective First Grade with the Midtown South precinct and a 9/11 first responder Joe was also a member of the NYPD Detective Endowment Association and a parishioner of St. Stephen RC Church Warwick.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie Horne and daughter Elizabeth Dinan at home; his sons, Michael and Joseph Dinan, both of NYC. Also surviving are his mother Irene Dinan of Hewitt, NJ and his brother, John Dinan and his wife Maureen of NYC, sister Irene
O’ Donnell and her husband Philip of NYC, sister Maureen Morris and her husband Michael, of Queens and his brother Thomas Dinan and his wife Gloria of Hewitt, NJ, as well as many Nieces and nephews
Friends may call on Friday, April 3, 2009, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday at St. Stephen's RC Church Warwick. Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
