William E. Lehmann, of Warwick, NY (formerly of Pinellas Park, FL) passed away on July 28, 2011 at Arden Hill Hospital. He was 84 years old.
Born on August 26, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Frederick G. and Elizabeth (Eberhardt) Lehmann.
Mr. Lehmann served with the US Army during World War II. He was formerly a Police Officer with the Nassau County, Long Island, Police Department.
A family statement reads: “The family would like to thank the staff of Glenmere 2 at Valley View for their care of Bill over these last few years.”
He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Mastandrea of Warwick; nieces & nephews: Linda Hendon and her husband Bill of Bloomingburg, Nancy Hernandez and her husband Louis of Bloomingburg, William Mastandrea and his wife Linda of Warwick, and Bettyann Barron and her husband Robert of Montgomery; great-nephews: William J. Mastandrea, Peter Barron and Philip Barron; numerous cousins.
Graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village, NY.
