of Middletown, and formerly of Warwick, died on October 7, 2007 at Park Manor, Middletown.  She was 100 years old.

Born on July 7, 1907 in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Effie Ann Christie Maxwell.

She was married to the late Clarence M. Conklin (1963).

A Family statement read “Ann Mae was a talented lady and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.”

She is survived by her son, Frederick Douglas Conklin Sr., and his wife Jackie of Middletown; daughter, Grace Quackenbush of the State of Florida; two grandsons: Fredrick Conklin Jr. and his wife Diane, and Kevin Conklin and his wife Darla; one granddaughter, Barbara Zawaski; eight great-grandchildren:  Melissa. Rebecca, Heather, Michael, Matthew, John, Ryan, Scott, as well as several great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Anna Belle Fairweather, a son Melvin Conklin, and a grandson Fred Fairweather.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 9^th, from 6:00 to 7:30pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Funeral service will be 7:30pm at the funeral home.
