
Dominick J. Callari, a resident of Warwick, passed away at home on July 28, 2014. He was 89 years old.
Born on December 21, 1924 in Lodi, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Grace Callari.
He was married to the late Mariann (Guglielmino) Callari.
Dominick served with the US Army during World War II and was a D-Day veteran. He was a retired Lieutenant with the Lodi, New Jersey Police Department.
He was the loving father of Thomas Callari and his wife Nancy, Damian Callari and his wife Ruth, Guy Callari and his wife Martha, and Charlotte Hallengren and her husband David; loving grandfather of twelve, great-grandfather of three. He is also survived by brothers, Salvatore, Angelo, Leonard and sisters, Mary Padula and Josephine Luciano. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Callari and a sister, Ida Day.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 31st, from 5:00-9:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Friday, August 1st, at St. Stephens Church, Warwick. Private cremation.
