Dorothea M. Deignan

of Goshen, (formerly of Nalcrest, Florida) died on July 18, 2007 at Arden Hill Hospital.  She was 89 years old.

 

Born on July 19, 1917 in New York City, she was the daughter of James and Mae Knoechel Mc Evoy. 

 

She was married to the late Lawrence J. Deignan (1969).

 

Mrs. Deignan was an Executive Secretary with Occidental Petroleum, Niagara Falls, New York.

 

She is survived by her son, Lawrence A. Deignan and his wife Kathy of Warwick.  She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis C. Deignan and three brothers:  Edward Mc Evoy, George Mc Evoy and James Mc Evoy.

 

Visitation will be on Friday, July 20, 2007, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Saturday at St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick.  Private cremation.
