Nicholas Pappas of Pine Island, NY passed away at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY on June 6, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.  He was 75 years old.

Born December 13, 1942 in New York City to parents George and Mary (Vasquez) Pappas.

Nicholas was married to Deborah Moser who survives him. They were parishioners at St. Stephen RC Church, Warwick, NY.

He worked as an electrician for IBEW Local 3 in New York City.

Nicholas was an avid fisherman. He also loved to cook and paint.

Nicholas is survived by his wife at home; a daughter Nicole Pappas of Portland, OR; four sons, Robert Pappas and his wife Toni-Ann of Warwick, NY, Jason Pappas and his wife Desiree of Middletown, NY, Christopher Pappas and his companion Kelley Wolfarth of Philadelphia, PA, and Matthew Pappas of Warwick, NY; a sister Millie Margalia of Brooklyn, NY; four grandchildren, Robert, Adreanna, Luca and David.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Lazear Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. A funeral service will be Monday, June 11, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will immediate follow in Warwick Cemetery.
