Reinhold Joseph Kissner

of Warwick, NY (formerly Passaic, NJ) died on March 16, 2007 at his home.  He was 81 years old.

 

Born on November 30, 1925 in Germany, he was the son of Franz Joseph Kissner and Rose Fick.

 

He was married to the late Estelle Smariga ((2006).

 

Mr. Kissner was a Draftsman with Bendix Corporation, Teterboro, NJ.  He was a member of St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick, NY and St. Nicholas RC Church, Passaic, NJ.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Perez Council #262 in Passaic, where he was a third degree Knight, a member of the North Jersey Chapter of the Navy League of the United States, North Jersey Chapter of Sera International, the Canal Society, the Volunteer Railroaders Association and the Archeological Engineering Society.

 

He is survived by his daughter, Theresa Powers of Warwick, NY; a brother-in-law, Joseph Smariga of Coaldale, PA.

 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 27th,  from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 28th at St. Stephens RC Church.  Private cremation
