Alice Mary Foley Martin, a lifelong resident of Warwick, passed away on January 16, 2014 at home.  She was 78 years old.

Born on April 24, 1935 in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Leo James and Alice Mary (Wright) Foley.

She was married to Ferrier Peter T. Martin.

Before retiring, Alice was an Art Teacher with the Monroe-Woodbury Schools for 38 years and was an artist in her own right.   She was a Supervisor for Student Teachers at SUNY, New Paltz.   She spent her life with horses and was an avid rider.

She is survived by her husband, Peter, of Warwick; her daughters:  Karen A. Martin of Vernon, NJ and her fiancé Joshua McGriff and Claire Coolbeth and her husband Morgan of Falls Village, CT.  She is also survived by nephews and nieces.

Memorial funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at 10:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Church, 614 Route 517, Vernon, NJ.
