Walter R. Clemens

Walter R. Clemens, of Warwick, (formerly of Patchogue, Long Island), died on December 5, 2006 in St. Anthony’s Community Hospital, Warwick.  He was 84 years old. 

 

Born on January 12, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Vincent Clemens and Anna Mentz Clemens. 

 

He was married to Marie E. Marsh Clemens.

 

Mr. Clemens was an Army veteran of World War II.

 

He was a Draftsman with Robert Cahn Associates in Huntington, Long Island. 

 

Mr. Clemens is survived by his wife, Marie Clemens of Warwick; his son, David Clemens of Warwick.  He is also survived by a stepson, Robert Horton and his wife Dorothy and their children, Robert, Kevin and Pam.

 

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 7, 2006, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
